Today February 28th marks the last day of the 2022 #BlackHistoryMonth.
As a native African, “Black History Month” is also about my story.
Who ever thought that an #African student in the United States of America, will give birth to a son who will become the 44th President of the USA!
We all Africans native who travelled around the world to get a better education, know that we’ve never lived in great conditions as foreign students. Having the son of those Africans students reaching the top of the later, is just such a great achievement.
I can imagine how difficult it was for Barack Obama to face the injustice over and over that people with dark skin like him were going through. Long story short: Barack Obama was elected as the 44th President of the United States of America in 2008, and he became the 1st Black President of the most powerful country in the world. I must acknowledge, praise and congratulate the trust, the support and the vote of all Americans, of all colors who voted for him: this happens ONLY in the U.S.A!
I am a Black woman Entrepreneur currently raising capital for my startup on PicMii Crowdfunding. Our campaign currently has non-accredited investors from the U.S, France, Switzerland, Canada, Italy, Germany, Cameroon, Gabon, Central Republic of Africa and Belgium. Reaching out to these non-accredited investors outside the U.S was made possible because of the Obama American Jobs Act that he signed in 2012, allowing and making legal for U.S based startups companies to raise funds from non-accredited and accredited investors from all countries in the world, planting here the seed of the wealth building system that people of color and non-accredited US investors did not have access to. In my opinion, this is the greatest achievement of President Barrack Obama. At the end of the day, if people make good money, they will be able to afford all most everything they want, including their health insurance, like rich people do.
From the bottom of my heart, I am so THANKFUL to President Barack Obama and his Administration for passing this American Jobs Act. The American Jobs Act has prevented me from being humiliated by accredited investors of the Silicon Valley who did not invest in #BlackOwnedBusinesses for over 200 years. They have been keeping the wealth building mechanism to the startup founders with their skin color. Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! my brother #BarackObama. Amen!
