Location: Los Angeles Area, California (On-site) Employment Type: Full-Time Compensation: $140,000–$185,000 annually, depending on experience, plus equity participation through the Company's Equity Incentive Plan (Option Pool). About MYDENTALWIG MYDENTALWIG is developing a new category of healthcare technology called Ingestion Intelligence™. Our mission is to create the world's first platform capable of detecting human ingestion behavior in real time and translating it into predictive metabolic intelligence. We believe one of the greatest missing data layers in healthcare is the inability to objectively measure how people eat before disease develops. Our first product combines advanced sensing technology, embedded electronics, artificial intelligence, and cloud computing into an entirely new medical technology platform. This is not an incremental product improvement—it is an opportunity to help create a new category of digital health. About the Opportunity We are seeking an exceptional Biomedical Engineer to lead the development of the sensing hardware powering our Dental Computing Interface™ (DCI™). You will play a foundational role in designing, prototyping, testing, and refining the sensing technologies that make real-time ingestion detection possible. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving difficult multidisciplinary engineering problems at the intersection of biomedical engineering, embedded systems, sensors, materials science, and product development. As one of the Company's earliest technical hires, you will have significant influence on product architecture, technical decisions, intellectual property development, and the future direction of the platform. Key Responsibilities

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's or Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering.
  • Experience developing Class I, II, or III medical devices.
  • Knowledge of MEMS sensors, microelectronics, flexible electronics, or miniaturized sensing systems.
  • Experience with FDA design controls (21 CFR Part 820 or the successor Quality Management System Regulation) and ISO 13485.
  • Familiarity with rapid prototyping, additive manufacturing, or clean-room fabrication processes.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams.
  • Inventor on issued or pending patents.
  • Startup experience from concept through commercialization.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive annual salary: $140,000–$185,000, based on qualifications and experience.
  • Stock option grant under the Company's Equity Incentive Plan, subject to Board approval and the applicable Stock Option Agreement.
  • Equity awards are generally subject to a four-year vesting schedule with a one-year cliff.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance (upon implementation of the Company's benefits program).

Founding Team Opportunity This is one of the Company's most important founding leadership positions. The successful candidate will not simply manage an existing engineering organization—they will build it. As MYDENTALWIG's Founding Builder CTO, you will establish the Company's technical foundation, shape its engineering culture, influence product strategy, contribute to its intellectual property portfolio, and help transform an ambitious vision into a scalable global technology platform. We are seeking a technology leader who enjoys building as much as leading—someone who is equally comfortable designing enterprise architecture, deploying cloud infrastructure, reviewing production code, mentoring engineers, and solving complex technical challenges alongside the team.   Why Join MYDENTALWIG? Artificial intelligence is transforming nearly every industry, yet one of the most important determinants of human health—daily ingestion behavior—remains largely invisible to existing technologies. MYDENTALWIG is building a platform designed to change that. As the Company's Founding Builder CTO, you will help create foundational technologies that combine artificial intelligence, biomedical sensing, cloud computing, and predictive analytics into an entirely new approach to preventive healthcare. If you are passionate about building world-class software, architecting scalable technology platforms, solving meaningful engineering challenges, and helping establish a company designed for long-term global impact, we encourage you to apply. To apply, please submit your résumé, a brief cover letter describing your interest in the role, and any relevant GitHub repositories, software portfolio, technical publications, patents, or significant engineering projects.
